By Walter and Marilyn Rabetz
70 pages, 84 images
This elegant book contains the work of a 19th century photography who lived and worked on the island of Nantucket, MA. Walter Rabetz found a treasure trove of his old glass plates and kept them for many years waiting for a way to present them. They were exhibited several times and are now presented in this lovely, book which highlihgts Freeman's compositional ability and tells us a lot about the middle class people living on the island at the time who came to his studio to be photographed.
